Because Badd Kitty Club is a social club, you must be a member of it to attend any event. Our strict membership policy ensures that no outsiders, wannabes, or uninvolved thrillseekers ruin your evening for you. We do not publish the location of our events in any of our advertising and we don't admit any non-members who show up on the night of an event. This keeps people who are not in the lifestyle, the troublemakers, and the "lookie-loos" out. Most of our events are "couples only" events to allow those in committed relationships to meet other couples in a relaxed, no-pressure atmosphere. We also have specific nights that single members may attend events to allow those single people in the lifestyle to have a place to meet others with similar interests. Couples may attend the singles events, as we realize that sometimes couples are looking for singles to join them and vice versa, and we want to provide that opportunity to our members as well. Singles may not, however, attend any event designated only for couples. Therefore, we offer memberships to both couples and singles who are active in the lifestyle. Our membership rates are very affordable and are only in place to cover the administrative costs of maintaining a membership data base (which is fully private) and the materials needed for membership cards. Each member will receive a membership card, which will also serve as your name tag at events, rather than those sticker-type name tags that ruin your clothes and hurt your skin.
In order to make sure that member interests are congruent with the spirit of the swing lifestyle, we have a few simple requirements for membership. These are as follows:
Couples Memberships:
1. All members must be at least 21 years of age.
2. Memberships are granted to only a couple as a unit. Therefore, couples are only members as a unit (neither is a member on their own).
3. Memberships are only granted to couples who are in long-term, committed relationships that include co-habitation. We have come to realize that there are some couples that are only casually dating and using eachother and the relationship to have access to lifestyle events. We believe that this type of arrangement contradicts what makes this lifestyle work and therefore preclude such couples from membership or involvement in club events.
4. Memberships are granted to couples who are BOTH equally and actively interested in the lifestyle. Couples who have one partner who is pressuring their spouse to do something they don't want to do simply do not belong at lifestyle events and therefore are precluded from memberships and events.
Because these simple requirements are in place, you'll find that the atmosphere at Badd Kitty Club during couples events will be relaxed, comfortable, and sexually charged because everyone is here for the same reasons, which makes meeting other compatible couples very natural and easy.
Singles Memberships:
1. All members must be at least 21 years of age.
2. Memberships are only granted to singles who have a history in the lifestyle, demonstrated through either involvement in some type of forum or group, previous personal experiences, or who can express a thorough understanding of what the lifestyle is and what makes it work. For individuals who are new to and just considering pursuing lifestyle involvement, please see our informational and etiquette pages to assist you in making an informed choice. Single people who are only interested in attending lifestyle events to gawk, attempt to gain one-time sexual gratification with someone else's partner, those with no intention of long-term lifestyle participation, or those who do not understand lifestyle etiquette and pressure others into sexual activity will not be granted membership.
3. Memberships are only granted to those who are personally interested in the lifestyle and are not being pressured by another individual to join or attend events.
Guidelines on Guests:
Members my bring out-of-town guests or guests that are considering becoming a member but would like to attend an event prior to pursuing membership. Other guests may be admitted to Badd Kitty events by personal invitation from the founders or their designees, only. Record of all invitations will be maintained by the club and checked prior to admittance. All guests must be pre-registered by the member who invited the guest, and these hosts will be held responsible for the behavior of their guests while attending events. Poor conduct on the part of a member's guest may result in removal of both the guest and the host from the event, and depending on the situation, may result in suspension of the privilege to bring a guest or revocation of the hosts membership in extreme cases. No guest may attend an event a second time without becoming a member.
Steps for Becoming a Member:
1. First you must complete the membership application (see link). You may either do this by clicking on the link, completing the form electronically or by printing it off, completing it and mailing it to: Badd Kitty Club P.O. Box 150 Sheridan, NY 14135-0150.
2. Once we receive your application, we will contact you by phone for a brief interview to ensure that you meet all of the requirements for membership.
3. Once approved, you will be issued your membership card the first time you attend an event once age is verified. Therefore, please remember to bring a photo ID with your birth date to the first event you attend.
Once you are a member of Badd Kitty Club, you may register for events by either calling us at 716-785-2799 and stating your name (s) and the date of the event you plan to attend or by sending an email containing the above information. You will then be added to our event registration list and we will be expecting you when you arrive! Because space at our events is limited, we require a 48-hour notice if you need to cancel your registration. Because we plan events based on the number of members attending (food, volunteers, etc), please also refrain from registering for events until you are certain you will attend. Anyone who registers for events and fails to show up without notice three times shall lose their member status and will not be able to attend future events. |
